After five years, the Lents Homeownership
Initiative partners decided it was time to evolve our
community building efforts into East Portland and give this
project a new name - East Portland Enhancement Project
(EP2). Strong Connections, Healthy
Families, and Economic Opportunities are the 3 major
themes of the project and will guide us in our final stages
of creating new goals and outcomes.
Community partners are joining the EP2
Leadership Team to help finalize the project goals,
provide direction, keep the group on track, and plan events.
The Leadership Team meets the fourth Thursdays of every
month (details to the left). If you would like to join
us on the Leadership Team or find out how to become a

The Lents
Homeownership Initiative (LHI) was
a collaboration of more than 50 non-profit, public and
private sector organizations, and businesses working together
to increase homeownership and improve the livability in the
Lents Town Center Urban Renewal Area.
