The East Portland Homeownership Forums will provide participants with accurate and relevant information about homeownership opportunities in the Portland Metro area and East Portland in particular.

Admission is free, and attendees who stay for the presentation will be eligible to enter a drawing for a $4,000 homebuying assistance grant. The winner will be able to use to money for purchasing a home, or renovating a home being purchased. Dinner will be provided, through a generous donation from Bacci's on 7th.

A number of government and community organizations will also be present to answer questions and provide information on resources available to those already in the process of buying a home, or just beginning to look at their options.

Vietnamese, Russian, Spanish, French and Thai interpreters will be available.
